Dr. Faustman from Harvard talks about why using bigger magnetic beads fore cell isolation. "When isolating your cells you don't want them getting starved from oxygen and nutrients. Larger particles give better yield because in a short period of time 100% of the cells are pulled to the side and those cells thus have, with bigger particle separation, better viability and purity."
